The Texas Instruments Jazz Band is an 18-piece big band based at the Texins Activity Center at Texas Instruments in Dallas, Texas.

The Jazz Engineers are a jazz quintet who are engineers by day.

EnerJazz Music is the home of original compositions by Paul Westbrook.

We won the “Best Musicianship Award.”

Paul Westbrook began composing in the mid 1980’s. By the late 80’s there was enough technology to make recordings at home. Early recordings used a Yamaha DX7, his saxophone, and a 4-track cassette recorder. An ATARI computer running Steinberg software was the next great leap. The home studio continued to evolve and when mp3.com hit the scene In the late 90’s Paul found an audience. Some of his worldwide hits were:

* Street Corner Blues - # 1 Blues Vocalist
* Dilbert is a Documentary - # 1 Jump Blues
* Fajita - # 2 Latin Jazz
* Think of You - # 3 Jazz Vocalist
* Parker ’N Diz - # 3 Bebop

mp3.com sold out and folded in 2003, but CNET is trying to pick up where mp3.com left off. I’ve slowly begun adding songs to their site - CNET's Download.com
